The BAR - Residential/Commercial (Business-Building Alliance)

Document Actions
The BAR stands for Builders and Relocators. We help build the foundations for businesses and individuals. The group's main focus is to capture a cohesive group of individuals whose careers center on change. The primary change we are looking for is when a business builds, relocates, expands, downsizes, goes out of business or goes into business; and also when an individual buys their first starter home, moves into a retirement home or all the moves in between.

If you want to visit a future The BAR - Residential/Commercial meeting to determine whether the group fits you and you fit the group, contact Derek Johnson using any of the means specified below and ask to be invited.

---

Q: With what chapter of Yellow-Tie is your group affiliated?

A: We're part of the MetroEast, IL, USA chapter.

---

Q: We would like to hear your group's story -- why was it started?

A: Our theory is that when a large life-changing event happens, a series of smaller events take place. Our goal is to positively affect the businesses of not only the big change companies involved but the folks who take care of the smaller, yet vital, tasks that surround such a change. The fact is that by having a group of individuals that are talking to the SAME prospects, sharing the same best-practices, working together on the same marketing activities and generally building very intimate business relationships, it will not only increase our overall effectiveness as business professionals, it should produce some high-quality referrals as well.

---

Q: Within the choices of business to business (B2B), business to consumer (B2C) or both, how would you best classify the prospects to whom your members sell?

A: We sell both business to business and business to consumer.

---

Q: How else would you describe the prospects to whom your members sell, and/or the people you want in your group?
