Connectors Club Study Group (SIG)
We hope this question-and-answer session with Gill Wagner, director of the Connectors Club Study Group, will help you decide whether this Yellow-Tie group is a fit for you.
If you want to visit a future Connectors Club Study Group meeting to determine whether the group fits you and you fit the group, contact Gill using the form below and ask to be invited.

Q: We would like to hear your story -- why did you start this SIG?
A: After hearing Bob Burg's message on June 13, 2008, I made the decision to buy his entire library and study it thoroughly. I study much better in a group setting where everyone gets to share viewpoints, ask questions, get feedback and provide advice, so it occurred to me that starting a study group around Bob's Endless Referrals system might be a great way to pull people with the same goals together.
So we started the Endless Referrals SIG and spent a year going through Bob's material. Now that we've finished that learning process, we thought "Why not go further?"
Our focus now is twofold:
- To study all of the best philosophies, systems, tools and techniques for becoming Master Connectors
- To create a study system that can be used to replicate the Connectors Club in other chapters.
Yellow-Tie is all about leveraging the power of the group to achieve more together than you can alone, so studying methods for generating success through connecting others seems like a perfect fit.
---
Q: When, where and how often does your SIG meet?
A: We meet the first Wednesday of every month from 8 to 9:30 a.m. in Sunset Hills.
---
Q: What else do you want to tell people about your SIG?
A: I'm a huge believer in the idea that if you give to give, everyone wins. I hope everyone who participates shares that philosophy, because at our first meeting we set a few guidelines:
- Everyone contributes -- we'll take turns sharing our insights and ideas.
- Everyone connects -- some of our time will be spent actually making connections for one another.
---
Q: What is the price of admission to this SIG?
A: Two things:
- You must be a member of Yellow-Tie. (Nonmembers may visit twice before being asked to make the join/don't join decision.)
- You must have a giver's philosophy, connector's mindset and learner's heart.
---
Q: How do you want people interested in your SIG to contact you?
A: Please use the e-mail form so I can more easily keep track of who wants to participate.
